School Visit
Please call 413-774-4209 or email us at admit@bement.org to arrange a campus visit. We schedule visits Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. when school is in session.
Day student applicants generally stay for an entire day. Once a day student is connected with their host, parents or guardians tour campus with someone from the admission office. After their tour, parents depart and return at the end of the school day. During the visit, day student applicants will attend classes and lunch. An interview with an admission officer (for applicants to grades 4 through 9) or a screening with our lower school head (for applicants to grades 1, 2, or 3) will take place during the day. Students return to the admission office at the end of the day to meet their family. Kindergarten applicants attend small group screenings scheduled in February and March as part of their application process.
Boarding student applicants and their family usually visit campus for a tour and interview. The tour and interview process usually takes about two hours. If you would like to meet with someone in particular during your visit - a department head, a coach, a member of our music or art department - please let us know at the time you arrange your appointment. After returning from the campus tour, students will interview with an admission officer.
