Hello, and welcome to Bement! 

We are a kindergarten through grade nine day and boarding school serving students from around the Pioneer Valley of western Massachusetts as well as from around the world. Our uniquely global lower and middle school program emphasizes deep engagement in learning, play and physical activity, self-expression through the arts, and strong human connections vital to the healthy social-emotional growth of young people. 

Our 100 year old school in its distinctive location in Old Deerfield is infused with a strong sense of history, a community-wide commitment to learning, and a lasting connection with the natural world. At the same time, our community is committed to forward-looking approaches to learning that ensure our students are well prepared for rigorous educational experiences and rewarding careers in the future.
