Working at Bement

Our teachers, coaches, administrators, and staff work in concert to cultivate a learning community where both adults and students are challenged and inspired to lead meaningful lives. Bement is a welcoming, vibrant school, and we promote an inclusive environment that celebrates the differences among our staff members.

Educators at Bement develop deep bonds with students and are active across campus life, from teaching courses to advising students to coaching sports and heading a table during our family-style lunches. We seek candidates who want to dive into our community with passion, offering creative, experiential learning projects and driving new initiatives that elevate our school. We nurture young talent with brave ideas and hire seasoned veterans at the top of their game.

The Bement School is committed to providing competitive compensation and benefits plans, including, in some cases, housing for dorm parents on campus. Faculty have access to professional development opportunities, both on and off campus, and we actively seek to build and maintain a faculty and staff whose individual artistic, athletic, and literary passions enhance the educational environment for our whole community.

Bement is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and candidates who represent diversity for the school are strongly encouraged to apply.
