The Bement School (Bement) is committed to respecting your privacy and protecting any personal information you share with us. Bement created this statement to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy. We do not collect personally identifying information about you when you visit our site unless you provide such information. Providing such information is strictly voluntary. Bement will use such information only to conduct official school business, and it will never be disseminated by Bement to any third party. This website is intended to provide news and information about Bement. We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of content.

No part of this site or its contents - including, but not limited to, the school logo - may be copied, reproduced, modified, retransmitted, distributed, published, commercially exploited or otherwise transferred without written permission from Bement.

INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
Bement does not track, collect or distribute personal information about site visitors. However, we do collect some information about site visits. We have access to domain names and I.P. addresses of visitors. We compile statistics that show the number of visitors and the number of requests we receive for particular pages or files on the site. These statistics are used internally to evaluate and improve the site. The statistics contain no personal information (or email addresses) and cannot be used to gather such information.

Bement Parents are provided access to specific password-protected areas of our website, which may contain personally identifiable information, such as contact information for other Bement parents or families.

EMAIL PRIVACY AND SPA
The website contains email addresses of faculty and staff and (within the password-protected parts of the site) Bement parents. Use of this information for private, commercial, or political mailings and/or distribution to any outside party is prohibited. STUDENT PRIVACY
Bement is committed to protecting the privacy of our students and their families. We do not post the full names of students on the public pages of our website. Images of students are used on the public pages of the site; however, students are never identified by full name in images. Within the password-protected pages of the site, use of students' full names is allowed and students can also be identified by full name in images.

ONLINE GIVING AND OTHER TRANSCATIONS
We are committed to the privacy of all our donors and to those making any kind of transaction via the Bement website. Should you decide to make an online donation or purchase, you will be asked to provide your name, contact information and credit card billing information. All of this information is encrypted using SSL, an industry standard secure technology designed to prevent the theft or interception of the information you provide. Credit card billing information is used only to obtain payment from the appropriate credit card firm and to fulfill the donor's or purchaser's request, and is not stored or otherwise retained by Bement after the transaction is complete.
