After-School Care for Lower School
After school group begins each day after dismissal. Students have a choice of activities each day that include reading, drawing, game playing, or playing outside in good weather. Please email Emma at eoneal@bement.org if you would like your child on the roster for our after school group. The charge for the lower school after-school care is $15/day and will be billed monthly after the service has been provided. Please contact Emma O'Neal at eoneal@bement.org to sign up.
After-School Programs for Lower School
Additionally, Bement provides special after-school programs and clubs. Registration will open Tuesday, December 3 at 9:00 a.m. for our winter term (January - March) speciality programs! This year we're offering:
After-School Care until 5:30 p.m. Begins in January
Beginning January 6, we will offer after-school care until 5:30 p.m. for lower and upper day students.
- Standard after-school care will continue to be offered for lower school students from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
- Both Northampton and Hadley buses will pick up at 4:30 p.m. , as usual.
- Specialty programs for lower school students will still be offered from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
- Parents of all students will have the option for extended stay until 5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.
- During the 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. hour, lower school students will have indoor reading, games, drawing, and other activities, and upper school students will join boarding students for a quiet study hall.
- The extended hour costs $15 a day for upper school students. The cost for lower school students to stay from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. is $25 a day. The cost for lower school students to stay from 3:30 - 4;30 p.m. is $15 a day.
