Keith joins the Bement community with ten years of teaching experience across grades 7-12. Mr. Bevan has had a love for science, teaching, and soccer since he himself was in middle school. He chose to pursue his degrees in geology and education at UMASS and started his career not far down the road at Frontier Regional. After Frontier, Mahar Regional became his home where he taught a variety of courses and fell in love with technical theatre. Now he is ecstatic to be returning to teaching students about how the world around them works and interacts. Outside of the classroom you will find him enjoying the ascetic and athletic features of geology, meteorology, astronomy, physics and biology, somewhere outside, no matter the season.

At Bement he continues coaching girls' varsity soccer, while also teaching eighth Grade Science, helping out with admissions, and is a ninth grade advisor. When he is not working, Mr. Pilgrim enjoys woodworking, golf, and gardening. Mr. Pilgrim and his wife, Karin, live in Westfield, MA with their black lab, Layla.
