Dan Bensen has been involved with Bement for almost as long as he can remember, having grown up in Bement House and attended school at Bement for six years prior to becoming a math teacher and dorm parent from 2013 to 2018. He enjoys applying a thorough, scientific approach to all aspects of life, with a particular focus on baking and all manner of sports and outdoor activities. An accomplished endurance athlete, Mr. Bensen has won multiple triathlons in addition to being a category 2 road bike racer, and when he is off duty, he is usually found biking or skiing throughout the hills of New England with his wife.

Ana Rueda-Hernandez was born and raised in Granada, Spain. She has lived and taught Spanish in the Pioneer Valley for the last ten years. A resident of Conway, Ms. Rueda-Hernandez spends her free time with her daughter enjoying the outdoors, running, biking, and skiing. Ms. Rueda-Hernandez brings her passion and enthusiasm for Spanish culture and language to the classroom.
