Bement has one of the most competitive middle school ultimate teams in the Pioneer Valley, a region that has given rise to some of this sport's most famous, accomplished players and teams in the world. Our program attracts players who love to run hard, play hard, and work as a team. We run with the most talented middle school ultimate teams in the state, and in our nine-year history we have enjoyed multiple undefeated seasons.
Zack Mazzone grew up in eastern Massachusetts and taught science in Vermont before coming to Bement in the fall of 2021. In the spring of 2022, he received his Masters Degree in Special Education from Fitchburg State University. When he is not in the classroom, Mr. Mazzone enjoys playing ukulele, hiking mountains, kayaking, and playing disc golf with his wife and friends.
