Coaches

  • AlanaaronAlan Aaron
    Head Coach

Alan Aaron has been playing ultimate Frisbee for over 25 years, playing competitive club and summer leagues in the Boston area and more casually in the Pioneer Valley and southern Vermont. What initially attracted him to the sport and continues to draw him in is the unique “Spirit of The Game” element that is an integral part of the game. In addition, because the sport only requires a Frisbee to play, it can be played by anyone on an open field, or the beach, or with your dog. All this provides for a wonderful blend of fun and competition, which is the core of his goals and philosophy: teaching kids to have fun while competing and learning the values of playing as a team.

Mr. Aaron lives in Deerfield with his wife and when not coaching he is either a general contractor or playing with his Labrador retriever, who is still working on his Spirit of The Game.

  • Feitlinger rossRoss Feitlinger
    Assistant Coach

For Ross Feitlinger, science is not just a subject he teaches, but a passion. Ever since he was a little boy, he wanted to work in the environmental sciences field. He got his first teaching opportunity teaching outdoor education in Maine. His passions for science and education grew from there and are incorporated in almost everything he does. Mr. Feitlinger coaches soccer, ultimate, and alpine skiing, and in his free time enjoys hiking, photography and going fast on a zip line. He especially enjoys being at home in the hills of western Massachusetts with his wife, daughter, and dog.
