Bement’s Leadership Team, teaching faculty, and staff have worked together to ensure we are ready to welcome students back to school for a safe, enriching year of living and learning together.
Posted here are details about many areas of school life that will be affected by reopening school during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our hope in sharing these plans is to update the community and continue the dialog that has helped us arrive at this point in the planning process. The posted plans are a snapshot of our thinking in this moment based on the professional judgment of our talented faculty and staff, the advice and guidance gleaned from local, state, and federal agencies, and the helpful feedback and questions received from Bement families new and old. We will endeavor to hold to our plans as long as they continue to promote the health and safety of our community. Future drafts of these plans will highlight any changes to previously published details.
Bement's Community Health and Responsibility Pledge outlines a set of expectations and understandings that all students, families, and employees must uphold in order to promote and preserve the health and safety of The Bement School, including a daily health screening.
We are asking all students, families, and employees to indicate that you have read and understand this pledge by completing this acknowledgement form.
