Part-Time Communications Director

The director will be responsible for all publications and school-related communications including weekly newsletters, maintaining social media presence, working with the director of technology to maintain and improve the school’s web site, and school promotion through press releases and media contact. S/he is also responsible for producing and updating annual publications such as the Bement Bulletin, Family Directory, Family Handbook, and Curriculum Guide. The communications director will work closely with the director of admission on advertising and marketing efforts on behalf of the school. Necessary skills include excellent writing and editorial skills, strong organizational skills to plan project timelines and adhere to deadlines, ability to manage multiple projects, initiative, and savvy technology background, particularly with social media. The position utilizes a 20-hour/week model. On campus housing may be available.
