In March, 2009, the Bement School Korea Association hosted Head of School Shelley Borror Jackson and her husband, Rob Jackson, for their second visit to the country. In addition to creating an opportunity for Bement families in Korea to gather, the impetus of the trip was sharing information about Building Community, the school's capital campaign which focuses on new dorms and improved faculty residences. Past, current, and future families enjoyed a lovely dinner together in Seoul at the COEX Intercontinental Hotel. The evening was planned by parents Sun Hee Yoo P '10 and Sun Young Jung P'09, with "master of ceremony" duties filled by Terry Lee '81, Bement's alumni representative in Seoul. Once again, Shelley and Rob were overwhelmed with gratitude for the families' warm welcome, trademark hospitality, and generous support of every kind for Bement.
