Boarding Schedule
North End Boarders
(Wright House and Stebbins House)
6:45 a.m.
Wake up boarders. This time may vary according to boarders'
needs (it may need to be earlier). Most boarders shower,
some shower at night.
7:20 a.m.
Check on boarders' progress. Are they in appropriate school
dress? Are their personal areas clean? Let them know what
needs to be done to their rooms before check out, and give a
"10 minutes until check-out" warning.
7:30 a.m.
Check rooms and send boarders up to Dining Hall.
7:45 a.m.
Breakfast
8:10 a.m.
School day begins
4:30 p.m.
School day ends for Upper School.
5:00 p.m.
Latest time for boarders to check in with Dorm Parent on
duty.
5:45 (5:15 Tues)
Boarders check out and head up to Dining Hall for 6:00
dinner (5:30 dinner on Tuesdays and Fridays). Monday dinner
is by candlelight, with Monday dress.
6:45 (6:15 Tues)
Study Hall
8:15 (7:45 Tues)
End of Study Hall for Upper School boarders, who immediately
return to dorm for free time. (On Tuesdays all boarders go
to Jacksons' for dessert after Study Hall.)
9:30 p.m.
Quiet time for 7th-9th graders.
10:00 p.m.
Lights out for 7th-9th graders.
South End Boarders
(Bement House and Barton House)
6:45 - 7:00 a.m.
Wake up boarders. This time may vary according to boarders'
needs (it may need to be earlier).
7:30 a.m.
Check on boarders' progress. Are they in appropriate school

5-minute bell rings. Check rooms and send boarders over to
Dining Hall.

School day ends for Lower School. Lower School boarders go
to After School Group.
4:30 p.m.
Lower School boarders check in with Dorm Parent, and begin
free time. School day ends for Upper School.
4:50 p.m.
Latest time for Upper School boarders to check in with Dorm
Parent.
5:30 p.m.
Walk-through dinner on Tuesdays and Fridays (with free
seating on Friday.)
6:00 p.m.
Dinner time for all days except Tuesday and Friday. Monday
dinner is by candlelight, with Monday dress.

Study Hall
7:45 (7:15 Tues)
End of Study Hall for Lower School boarders, who return to
dorm (or neighboring dorm if their own Dorm Parent is on
Study Hall) for free time or activity.
8:15 (7:45 Tues)
End of Study Hall for Upper School boarders, who immediately
return to dorm for free time. (On Tuesdays all boarders go
to Jacksons' for dessert after Study Hall.)
8:30 p.m.

Lights out for 4th and 5th graders.
Quiet time for 6th graders.
