*We will have the opportunity to meet prospective kindergarten
students at a later date, during the screenings.
Each student applying for a place in kindergarten must attend a
screening as part of the application process. Each screening
session takes place over two days. On the first day parents
accompany their children to the kindergarten classroom at 3:45
p.m. When your child is settled we ask that the parents adjourn
with Julia Flannery, Shelley Jackson, and Kimberly Loughlin to a
nearby classroom. This afternoon session (about 45 minutes)
allows the children to get comfortable with each other, the
teachers, and the space before participating the next day
without you nearby. The next morning the children return eager
to reconnect with new friends. The second day's session begins
with an 8:30 a.m. drop-off at the admission office and ends with
a 10:00 a.m. pick-up also at the admission office. The child’s
application, school records, and a teacher evaluation must be
submitted to the admission office prior to the screening.
