The Class of 2010 ended the school year with their musical, Willy Wonka. Bubbles, boats, squirrels, Gobstoppers, Oompa Loompas, and Willy Wonka himself graced the stage with the touching story of a young boy and his dream fulfilled. It was a golden ticket winner!
On June 10, 2010 we shared in their personal testimonials at their Baccalaureate at the Brick Church, and on June 11, 2010 we celebrated their Commencement ceremony and a moving Commencement address to the class from their advisor, coach, and teacher, Colleen Filler P’01’03’05, retiring from Bement after 19 years.
From a “Wonkalicious” stage performance of Willy Wonka in the Barn, to a moving performance of Magic Penny on the lawn, the Class of 2010 brought us all to our feet and taught us all to ‘think positive.’ They are now ready to fly on their own wings.
